Dear State Central Committee member,

While serving as Chair of the Democratic Party of Multnomah County I had many opportunities to work with Wayne Kinney, our Democratic National Committeeman from Oregon. Several aspects of Wayne's service to the Party have greatly impressed me.

Wayne has put a strong focus on rebuilding Democratic Party organizations in rural Oregon. With his help, County parties have organized and grown in areas that have lacked Democratic involvement for decades.

During the national convention delegate selection process Wayne made every possible effort to ensure that the process was completely open and fair to all candidates. He has impressed me as being committed to inclusiveness, fairness and full participation within the Party at all levels.

In addition, Wayne has served as a strong voice for Oregon on the Democratic National Committee, ensuring that our system of mail in elections is treated fairly and that other issues important to Oregon and other rural western states are heard.

Wayne has demonstrated a commitment to pressing for changes in the Democratic National Committee. He has gained valuable experience from his service so far, and should be returned as Oregon's Democratic National Committeeman.
